In the name of GOD, the GRACIOUS, the MERCIFUL

In the name of GOD (96:1) (Bis'mi-llahi), the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim)

Praise be to GOD, LORD of the worlds,

Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi), LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin),

the GRACIOUS, the MERCIFUL,

the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim),

Owner of the Day of Judgement,

Owner (Maaliki) of the Day of Judgement (Yaw'mi Ed'Diin), (82:18-19)

it is YOU we worship and it is YOU we seek for help.

it is YOU (Iyyaaka) we worship (Na'budu) and (Wa) it is YOU (Iyyaaka) we seek for help (Nas'taeen). (2:153)

Guide us to the straight path;

Guide us (Eh'di-naa) to the straight (El'Mus'taqiim) path (Es'Siraato); (6:153)

the path of those whom YOU have favoured, not of those upon whom is the anger nor of the misguided.

the path (Siraato) of those (Ellaziina) whom (-him') YOU have favoured (4:69) (An'äm'ta Älai'-), not (Gai'ri) of those upon whom (Älai'him’) is the anger (5:60) (El'Mag'duubi) nor (Walaa) of the misguided (3:90) (Ed'Doalliin).
