Have you not seen how your LORD dealt with the companions of the elephant*?

Have you (s) not (Alam') seen (-Tara) how (Kai'fa) your LORD (Rabbu-ka) dealt (Faäla) with (Bi) the companions (As'haabi) of the elephant (El’Fiil)*?

Did HE not render their scheme into deception

Did HE not (Alam') render (Yaj'äl') their scheme (Kai'da-hum’) into (Fii) deception (Tad'liili)

and sent a flock of birds against them,

and (Wa) sent (Ar'sala) a flock (Abaabiil) of birds (Toi'ran) against them (Älai'him’),

flinging them with stones of shale

flinging them (Tar'mii-him) with (Bi) stones (Hijaaratin) of (Min) shale (Sijjiili) (11:82)

and made them like eaten chaff?

and (Fa) made them (Jaäla-hum’) like (Ka) eaten (Ma'kuul) chaff (Äs'fin)?
