Yunus - Surah 10
109 verses
And if they deny you, then say:"I have my work, and you have your work. You are free from what I do, and I am free from what you do."
And (Wa) if (In) they deny you (s) (Kazzabuu-ka), then (Fa) say (Qul): "I have (Lii) my work (Ämalii), and you have (Lakum') your work (Ämalu-kum'). You (p) (Antum) are free (Barii'uuna) from what (Mimmaa) I do (A'malu), and I am (Ana') free (Barii'un) from what (Mimmaa) you do (Ta'maluun)."
And among them are those who listen to you; but can you make the deaf hear even though they will not reason?
And (Wa) among them (Min'hum) are those who (Man) listen (Yas'tamiuuna) to you (s) (ilai'ka); but can you (Afa'anta) make the deaf (Es'Summa) hear (-Tus'miu) even though (Walaw') they (Kaanu') will not (Laa) reason (Ya'qiluun)?
And among them are those who look at you, but can you guide the blind even though they do not see?
And (Wa) among them (Min'hum) are those who (Man) look (Yanzuru) at you (s) (ilai'ka), but can you (Afa'anta) guide (Tah'dii) the blind (El'Um'ya) even though (Walaw') they (Kaanu') do not (Laa) see (Yub'siruun)?
Indeed, GOD does not wrong the people at all, but the people are wronging themselves.
Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) wrong (Yaz'limu) the people (En'Naasa) at all (Shai'an), but (Walaakinna) the people (En'Naasa) are wronging (Yaz'limuun) themselves (Anfusa-hum').
And the day HE assembles them, it will be as if they had only lingered for an hour of the day, they will recognize each other. Those who denied the meeting of GOD would have lost, for they were not guided.
And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) HE assembles them (Yah'shuru-hum'), it will be as if (Ka'an) they had only (Lam' illa) lingered (Yal'bathuu') for an hour (Saa'ätan) of (Mina) the day (En'Nahaari), they will recognize (Yataäärafuuna) each other (Bai'nahum'). Those who (Ellaziina) denied (Kazzabu' Bi) the meeting of GOD (Liqaai-llahi) would have (Qad') lost (Khasira), for (Wa) they were (Kaanu') not (Maa) guided (Muh'tadiin).
And whether We show you some of what We promised them or cause you to die, thus to Us is their return; then GOD is a witness to what they do.
And (Wa) whether (Immaa) We show you (s) (Nuriyannaka) some (Ba'da) of what (Ellazii) We promised them (Naedu-hum') or (Aw') cause you (s) to die (Natawaffayannaka), thus (Fa) to Us (ilai'naa) is their return (Mar'jiu-hum'); then (Thumma) GOD (Ellahu) is a witness (Shahiidun) to (Älaa) what (Maa) they do (Yaf'äluun).
And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be settled between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.
And (Wa) for (Li) every (Kulli) nation (Ummatin) is a messenger (7:35) (Rasuulun). So (Fa) when (Izaa) their messenger (Rasuulu-hum') comes (Jaa'a), it will be settled (Qudiya) between them (Bai'nahum) in justice (Bil' Qis'ti), and they (Hum') will not (Laa) be wronged (Yaz'lamuun).
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"
And (Wa) they say (Yaquuluuna), "When (Mataa) is this (Haaza) promise (El'Wa'du), if (In) you should be (Kuntum') truthful (Soadiqiin)?"
Say:"I do not possess adversity nor benefit for myself except what GOD wills. For every nation is a term. When their term comes, then they will not be delayed an hour, nor will they advance.
Say (Qul): "I do not (Laa') possess (Am'liku) adversity (Dorraan) nor (Walaa) benefit (Naf'äan) for (Li) myself (Naf'sii) except (illa) what (Maa) GOD wills (Shaa'a-llahu). For (Li) every (Kulli) nation (Ummatin) is a term (Ajalun). When (Izaa) their term (Ajalu-hum') comes (Jaa'a), then (Fa) they will not (Laa) be delayed (Yas'ta'khiruuna) an hour (Saa'ätan), nor (Walaa) will they advance (Yas'taq'dimuun).
Say:"Have you considered; if HIS punishment should come to you in retirement or by daytime; what would the criminals hasten away from?
Say (Qul'): "Have you considered (Ara'ai'tum'); if (In') HIS punishment (Äzaabu-hu) should come to you (Ataa-kum') in retirement (Bayaatan) or (Aw') by daytime (Nahaaran); what (Maaza) would the criminals (El'Muj'rimuun) hasten (Yas'ta'jilu) away from (Min'hu)?
"Is it then when that has taken place you would believe in it now? While you have been hastening for it?"
"Is it then (A-thumma) when (Izaa) that (Maa) has taken place (Waqaä) you would believe (Aamantum) in it (Bihi) now (Aal'aana)? While (Wa) you have (Qad') been (Kuntum) hastening for it (Tas'ta'jiluun Bihi)?"
Then it will be said to those who transgressed, "Taste the punishment of eternity; you are only requited for what you have been earning."
Then (Thumma) it will be said (Qiila) to those who (Lillaziina) transgressed (Zolamu'), "Taste (Zuuqu') the punishment (Äzaaba) of eternity (32:14) (El'Khul'di); you are only (Hal' illa) requited (Tuj'zaw'na) for what (Bimaa) you have been (Kuntum') earning (Tak'sibuun)."
And they inquire from you, "Is it true?"Say:"It is, by my LORD. Indeed, it is true; and you cannot cause failure."
And (Wa) they inquire from you (s) (Yas'tanbiuunaka), "Is it (Huwa) true (Ahaqqun)?" Say (Qul'): "It is (Iy), by (Wa) my LORD (Rabbii). Indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) true (Haqqun); and (Wa) you (Antum) cannot (Maa Bi) cause failure (Mu'jiziin)."
And had it been that every soul which had transgressed would possess whatever is on earth, it would have ransomed with it. And they will confide regret when they see the punishment; and it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.
And (Wa) had it been that (Law' Anna) every (Kulli) soul (Naf'sin) which had transgressed (Zolamat') would possess (La) whatever (Maa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), it would have (La) ransomed (Ef'tadat') with it (Bihi). And (Wa) they will confide (Asarru') regret (En'Nadaamata) when (Lammaa) they see (Ra'awu') the punishment (El'Äzaaba); and it will be judged (Qudiya) between them (Bai'nahum) in justice (Bil' Qis'ti), and they (Hum') will not (Laa) be wronged (Yuz'lamuun).
Verily indeed, to GOD belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Verily indeed, the promise of GOD is true, but most of them do not know.
Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), to GOD belongs (Lillahi) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). Verily (Alaa) indeed (Inna), the promise of GOD (Wa'da-llahi) is true (Haqqun), but (Walaakinna) most of them (Ak'thara-hum') do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun).
HE gives life and causes death, and to HIM you will be returned.
HE (Huwa) gives life (Yuh'yii) and (Wa) causes death (Yumiitu), and to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be returned (Tur'jauun). (45:26)
O you mankind, a preachment has come to you from your LORD and a healing for whatever is in the bosoms and as guidance and mercy for the believers.
O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), a preachment (Maw'ezotu) has (Qad') come to you (Jaa'at'kum) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum') and (Wa) a healing (17:82) (Shifaa'un) for whatever (Limaa) is in (Fii) the bosoms (Es'Suduuri) and (Wa) as guidance (Hudan) and mercy (Rah'matun) for the believers (Lil' Mu'miniin).
Say:"It is by the favour of GOD and by HIS mercy, "so let them rejoice in these; it is better than what they accumulate."
Say (Qul'): "It is by (Bi) the favour of GOD (Fad'li-llahi) and (Wa) by (Bi) HIS mercy (Rah'mati-hi)," so let (Fal') them rejoice (Yaf'rahu') in (Bi) these (Zaalika); it (Huwa) is better (Khai'run) than what (Mimmaa) they accumulate (Yaj'mauun)."
Say:"Have you considered what GOD has sent down to you of sustenance, and you make some of it unlawful and lawful?"Say:"Has GOD permitted you, or do you fabricate about GOD?"
Say (Qul'): "Have you considered (Ara'ai'tum) what (Maa) GOD has sent down (Anzala-llahu) to you (Lakum) of (Min) sustenance (Riz'qin), and (Fa) you make (Jaäl'tum) some of it (Min'hu) unlawful (Haraaman) and (Wa) lawful (Halaalan)?" Say (Qul'): "Has GOD (Aa'llahu) permitted you (p) (Azina Lakum'), or (Am') do you fabricate (Taf'taruun) about GOD (Älaallahi)?" (16:116)
And what will be the thought of those who fabricate falsehood about GOD on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, GOD possesses favour for the people, but most of them are not thankful."
And (Wa) what (Maa) will be the thought (Zonnu) of those who (Ellaziina) fabricate (Yaf'taruuna) falsehood (El'Kazibu) about GOD (Älaallahi) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati)? Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) possesses (Lazuu) favour (Fad'lin) for (Älaa) the people (En'Naasi), but (Walaakinna) most of them (Akh'tharu-hum') are not (Laa) thankful (Yash'kuruun)."
