Say:"I seek protection with the LORD of daybreak*,

Say (Qul'): "I seek protection (Auuzu) with (Bi) the LORD (Rabbi) of daybreak (El'Falaq)*,

against the evil of what HE creates,

against (Min) the evil (Sharri) of what (Maa) HE creates (Khalaq),

and against the evil of the twilight when it glooms,

and (Wa) against (Min) the evil (Sharri) of the twilight (Gaasiqin) when (Izaa) it glooms (Waqab),

and against the evil of the spitters into knots,

and (Wa) against (Min) the evil (Sharri) of the spitters (En'Naffaathaati) into (Fii) knots (El'Uqad),

and against the evil of the envious when he envies."

and (Wa) against (Min) the evil (Sharri) of the envious (Haasidin) when (Izaa) he envies (Hasad)."
