For We gave them Our signs, but they were turning away from them.

For (Wa) We gave them (Aatai'naa-hum') Our signs (Aayaati-naa), but (Fa) they were (Kaanu') turning away (Mu'ridiin) from them (Än'haa).

And they used to engrave safe houses out of the mountains.

And (Wa) they used to (Kaanu') engrave (Yanhituuna) safe (Aaminiin) houses (Buyuutan) out of (Mina) the mountains (El'Jibaali).

Consequently, the blast seized them early in the morning.

Consequently (Fa), the blast (Es'Soi'hatu) seized them (Akhazat'humu) early in the morning (Mus'bihiin).

And what they used to earn did not avail them.

And (Fa) what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') earn (Yak'sibuun) did not (Maa) avail them (Ag'naa Än'hum).

And We did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them except for the truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so condone with a beautiful condonation.

And (Wa) We did not (Maa) create (Khalaq'naa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahumaa) except (illa) for the truth (Bil' Haqqi). And (Wa) indeed (Inna), the Hour (Es'Saa'äta) is (La) coming (Atiyatun); so (Fa) condone (Es'fahi) with a beautiful (El'Jamiila) condonation (Es'Sof'ha).

Indeed, your LORD is the CREATIVE, the OMNISCIENT.

Indeed (Inna), your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka) is (Huwa) the CREATIVE (El' Khallaaqu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim).

And We have certainly given you seven of the repeated and the Great Koran.

And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') given you (s) (Aatai'naa-ka) seven (Sab'än) of (Mina) the repeated (El'Mathaanii) and (Wa) the Great (El'Äziim) Koran (El'Qur'aana).

Do not extend your eyes toward what We have caused kinds of them to enjoy thereby, and do not grieve over them. And lower your flank to the believers.

Do not (Laa) extend (Tamuddanna) your eyes (s) (Äi'nai'ka) toward (ilaa) what (Maa) We have (-naa) caused kinds (Az'waajan) of them (Min'hum') to enjoy (-Matta'-) thereby (Bihi), and (Wa) do not (Laa) grieve (Tah'zan') over them (Älai'him'). And (Wa) lower (Ekh'fid') your flank (Janaaha-ka) to the believers (Lil' Mu'miniin).

And say:"Indeed, I am a clear warner, "

And (Wa) say (Qul'): "Indeed (Innii), I am (Anaa) a clear (El'Mubiin) warner (En'Naziiru),"

just as We have revealed to the divisive people,

just as (Kamaa) We have revealed (Anzal'naa) to (Älaa) the divisive people (El'Muq'tasimiin),

the ones who have made replacements of the Koran.

the ones who (Ellaziina) have made (Jaälu') replacements (Ediin) of the Koran (El'Qur'aana).

Therefore by your LORD, We will question them all

Therefore (Fa) by (Wa) your LORD (s) (Rabbu-ka), We will (La) question them (Nas'alannahum) all (Aj'maeen)

about what they have been doing.

about what (Ämmaa) they have been (Kaanu') doing (Ya'maluun).

So expose clearly what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists.

So (Fa) expose clearly (Es'da') what (Bimaa) you are commanded (Tu'maru) and (Wa) turn away (A'rid') from (Äni) the polytheists (El'Mush'rikiin).

Indeed, We will spare you the mockers,

Indeed (Innaa), We will spare you (s) (Kafai'naa-ka) the mockers (El'Mus'tah'zi'iin),

who assign another god with the GOD; but they will find out.

who (Ellaziina) assign (Yaj'äluuna) another (Aakhara) god (ilaahan) with the GOD (Maällahi); but (Fa) they will (Saw'fa) find out (Ya'lamuun).

And We certainly know that your bosom will be troubled by what they say.

And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') know (Na'lamu) that (Annaka) your bosom (s) (Sod'ru-ka) will be troubled (Yadiiqu) by what (Bimaa) they say (Yaquuluun).

So glorify with praise of your LORD and be of those who prostrate,

So (Fa) glorify (Sabbih') with (Bi) praise (Ham'di) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) and (Wa) be (Kun) of (Mina) those who prostrate (Es'Saajidiin),

and worship your LORD until the certainty comes to you.

and (Wa) worship (E'bud') your LORD (Rabba-ka) until (Hattaa) the certainty (56:95) (El'Yaqiin) comes to you (s) (Ya'tiya-ka).
