78 verses
Whom, if We firmly establish them on earth would establish the Liturgy and give the Charity and command to kindness and forbid abomination. And to GOD belongs the outcome of all matters.
Whom (Ellaziina), if (In) We firmly establish them (Makkannaa-hum') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) would establish (Aqaamu') the Liturgy (Es'Solaata) and (Wa) give (Aatawu') the Charity (Ez'Zakaata) and command (Amaru') to (Bi) kindness (El'Ma'ruufi) and forbid (Nahaw' Äni) abomination (El'Munkari). And (Wa) to GOD belongs (Lillahi) the outcome (end) (Ääqibatu) of all matters (El'Umuur).
And if they deny you, then the people of Noah, Ad, and Thamud had already denied before them,
And (Wa) if (In) they deny you (s) (Yukazzibuu-ka), then (Fa) the people (Qaw'mu) of Noah (Nuuhin), Ad (Äädun), and Thamud (Thamuud) had already (Qad') denied (Kazzabat') before them (Qab'lahum'),
also the people of Abraham, and the people of Lot
also (Wa) the people (Qaw'mu) of Abraham (Ib'raahiima), and the people (Qaw'mu) of Lot (Luut)
as well as the companions of Midian, Moses was also denied, but I dictated for the disbelievers, then I seized them. So how was MY reproach?
as well as (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of Midian (Mad'yana), Moses (Muusaa) was also (Wa) denied (Kuzziba), but (Fa) I (God) dictated (Am'lai'tu) for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina), then (Thumma) I seized them (Akhaz'tu-hum'). So (Fa) how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) MY reproach (Nakiiri)?
And how many a town have We annihilated while it was transgressing, and it became empty upon its trellises together with an idle well and a lofty palace.
And (Fa) how many (Ka'ayyin) a (Min) town (Qar'yatin) have We annihilated (Ah'lak'naa-haa) while (Wa) it (Hiya) was transgressing (Zoalimatun), and (Fa) it (Hiya) became empty (Khaawiyatun) upon (Älaa) its trellises (Uruushi-haa) together with (Wa) an idle (Muättolatin) well (Bi'rin) and a lofty (Mashiid) palace (Qas'rin).
Have they then not travelled on earth and have hearts by which they reason or ears by which they hear? For indeed, it is not the blindness of the eyesight, but the blindness of the hearts which are in the bosoms.
Have they then not (Afalam') travelled (Yasiiru') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) and (Fa) have (Takuuna Lahum') hearts (Quluubun) by which (Bihaa) they reason (Ya'qiluuna) or (Aw') ears (Aazaanun) by which (Bihaa) they hear (Yas'mauuna)? For (Fa) indeed, it (Innahaa) is not (Laa) the blindness (Ta'maa) of the eyesight (El'Ab'soaru), but (Walaakin) the blindness (Ta'maa) of the hearts (El'Quluubu) which (Ellatii) are in (Fii) the bosoms (Es'Suduur).
And they hasten you for the punishment, and GOD never breaks HIS promise. For indeed, a day at your LORD is like thousand years of which you count.
And (Wa) they hasten you (s) (Yas'ta'jiluunaka) for the punishment (Bil' Äzaabi), and (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) never (Lan) breaks (Yukh'lifa) HIS promise (Wa'da-hu). For (Wa) indeed (Inna), a day (Yaw'man) at (Enda) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) is like (Ka) thousand (Al'fi) years (32:5) (Sinatin) of which (Mimmaa) you count (Taudduun).
And how many a town did I dictate for it while it was transgressing, then I seized it and to ME was the destiny.
And (Wa) how many (Ka'ayyin) a (Min) town (Qar'yatin) did I (God) dictate (Am'lai'tu) for it (Lahaa) while (Wa) it (Hiyaa) was transgressing (Zoalimatun), then (Thumma) I seized it (Akhaz'tu-haa) and (Wa) to ME (ilayya) was the destiny (El'Masiir).
Say:"O you mankind, I am only a clear warner to you."
Say (Qul'): "O you (Yaa Ayyuhaa) mankind (En'Naasu), I am (Ana') only (Innamaa) a clear (Mubiin) warner (Naziirun) to you (Lakum')."
Therefore those who believe and do good deeds, will have forgiveness and honourable sustenance.
Therefore (Fa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), will have (Lahum) forgiveness (Mag'firatun) and honourable (Kariim) sustenance (Riz'qun).
As for those who strive against Our verses to cause incompetence; those will be the companions of Hell.
As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) strive (Saäw') against (Fii) Our verses (Aayaati-naa) to cause incompetence (34:5) (Muääjiziina); those (U'laaika) will be the companions (As'haabu) of Hell (El'Jahiim).
For We did not send any messenger nor a prophet before you except when he wishes, the devil contrives in his wishes; but GOD abolishes what the devil contrives, and then GOD perfects HIS verses. And GOD is Omniscient and Wise.
For (Wa) We did not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'naa) any (Min) messenger (Rasuulin) nor (Walaa) a prophet (Nabiyyin) before you (Mohammed) (Min Qab'li-ka) except (illa) when (Izaa) he wishes (Tamannaa), the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) contrives (Al'qaa) in (Fii) his wishes (Um'niyyati-hi); but (Fa) GOD abolishes (Yansakhu-llahu) what (Maa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) contrives (Yul'qii), and then (Thumma) GOD perfects (Yuh'kimu-llahu) HIS verses (Aayaati-hi). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is Omniscient (Äliimun) and Wise (Hakiim).
So that HE may render what the devil contrives as a trial for those in whose hearts is disease and whose hearts are stubborn. For indeed, the transgressors are in distant dissension.
So that (Li) HE may render (Yaj'äla) what (Maa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) contrives (Yul'qii) as a trial (Fit'natan) for those (Lillaziina) in (Fii) whose hearts (Quluubi-him) is disease (Maradun) and (Wa) whose hearts (Quluubu-hum') are stubborn (El'Qaasiyati). For (Wa) indeed (Inna), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina) are in (Lafii) distant (Baeed) dissension (Shiqaaqi).
So that those who have been given the knowledge will know that it is the truth from your LORD, and they will believe in it, and their hearts will humble to it. For indeed, GOD is the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path.
So (Wa) that (Li) those who (Ellaziina) have been given (Uutu') the knowledge (El' il'mi) will know (Ya'lama) that it (the Koran) (Annahu) is the truth (El'Haqqu) from (Min) your LORD (s) (Rabba-ka), and (Fa) they will believe (Yu'minu') in it (Bihi), and their hearts (Quluubu-hum) will humble (Tukh'bita) to it (Lahu). For (Wa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is the (La) Guide (Haadi) of those who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanuu') to (ilaa) a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatin). (34:6)
But those who disbelieve will not cease being in doubt of it until the Hour comes to them surprisingly or the punishment of a fruitless day comes to them.
But (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') will not (Laa) cease (Yazaalu) being in (Fii) doubt (Mir'yatin) of it (Min'hu) until (Hattaa) the Hour (Es'Saa'ätu) comes to them (Ya'tiya-humu) surprisingly (Bag'tatan) or (Aw') the punishment (Äzaabu) of a fruitless (Äqiim) day (Yaw'min) comes to them (Ya'tiya-hum').
The sovereignty on that day belongs to GOD; HE will judge between them. Then those who believed and did good deeds will be in the Gardens of Bliss.
The sovereignty (El'Mul'ku) on that day (Yaw'maizin) belongs to GOD (Lillahi); HE will judge (Yah'kumu) between them (Bai'nahum'). Then (Fa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) did (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) will be in (Fii) the Gardens (Jannaati) of Bliss (En'Naeem).
As for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses, thus those will have a humiliating punishment.
As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') and (Wa) denied (Kazzabu' Bi) Our verses(Aayaati-naa), thus (Fa) those (U'laaika) will have (Lahum') a humiliating (Muhiin) punishment (Äzaabun).
And those who emigrated in the way of GOD, and then got killed or died; GOD will provide them with good sustenance. For indeed, GOD is the best of providers.
And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) emigrated (Haajaru') in (Fii) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi), and then (Thumma) got killed (Qutiluu') or (Aw') died (Maatu'); GOD (Ellahu) will (La) provide them with (Yar'zuqannahumu) good (Hasanan) sustenance (Riz'qan). For (Wa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (Lahuwa) the best (Khai'ru) of providers (Er'Raaziqiin). (3:169)
HE will admit them with an admittance which they will be pleased. For indeed, GOD is Omniscient and Clement.
HE will (La) admit them (Yad'khilanna-hum) with an admittance (Mud'khalan) which they will be pleased (Yar'daw'na-hu). For (Wa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (La) Omniscient (Äliimun) and Clement (Haliim).
That, and whoever will punish with the like of what he was punished and then he is tyrannized; GOD will assist him. Indeed, GOD is Pardoning and Forgiving.
That (Zaalika), and (Wa) whoever (Man') will punish (Ääqaba) with (Bi) the like (Mith'li) of what (Maa) he was punished (Uuqiba) and then (Thumaa) he is tyrannized (16:126) (Bigiya Älai'hi); GOD (Ellahu) will (La) assist him (Yansurannahu). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (La) Pardoning (Äfuwwun) and Forgiving (Gafuur).
