O you mankind, worship your LORD; the One who created you and those before you perhaps you will become pious.

O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), worship (E'budu') your LORD (Rabba-kumu); the One who (Ellazii) created you (Khalaqa-kum) and (Wa) those (Ellaziina) before you (Min Qab'li-kum) perhaps you (Laällakum) will become pious (Tattaquun).

The One who made the earth a bed for you and the sky a structure and sent down water from the sky and brought forth fruits thereby as sustenance for you. Therefore do not assign counterparts to GOD while you know.

The One who (Ellazii) made (Jaäla) the earth (El'Ar'do) a bed (Firaashan) for you (Lakum) and (Wa) the sky (Es'Samaa'a) a structure (Binaa'an) and sent down (Anzala) water (Maa'an) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) and (Fa) brought forth (Akh'raja Mina) fruits (Etthamaraati) thereby (Bihi) as sustenance (Riz'qan) for you (Lakum). Therefore (Fa) do not (Laa) assign (Taj'älu') counterparts (2:165) (Andaadan) to GOD (Lillahi) while (Wa) you (Antum) know (Ta'lamuun).

And if you are in doubt of what We have revealed to Our servant, then bring a chapter of its likeness and invite your witnesses other than GOD, if you should be truthful.

And (Wa) if (In) you are (Kuntum') in (Fii) doubt (Rai'bin) of what (Mimma) We have revealed (Nazzal'naa) to (Älaa) Our servant (Äb'di-naa), then (Fa) bring (Etu' Bi) a chapter (Suuratin) of (Min) its likeness (Mith'li-hi) and (Wa) invite (Ed'u') your witnesses (Shuhadaa'a-kum) other than GOD (Min Duuni-llahi), if (In) you should be (Kuntum') truthful (Soadiqiin).

But if you do not and can never do, then beware of the Fire, whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

But (Fa) if (In) you do (Taf'älu') not (Lam') and (Wa) can never (Lan) do (Taf'älu'), then (Fa) beware (Ettaqu') of the Fire (En'Naara), whose (Ellatiii) fuel (Waquudu-ha) is people (En'Naasu) and stones (El'Hijaaratu), prepared (Ueddat') for the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriin).

And give good news to those who believe and do good deeds that they will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with some fruit as sustenance therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before."And similar will be given therein. And they will have purified spouses therein, and they will be therein eternally.

And (Wa) give good news (Basshiri) to those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) that (Anna) they will have (Lahum) gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haar) flow (Taj'rii). Whenever (Kullamaa) they are provided with (Ruziqu') some (Min) fruit (Thamaratin) as sustenance (Riz'qa) therefrom (Min'ha), they will say (Qaalu'), "This (Haazaa) is what (Ellazii) we were provided with (Ruziq'naa) before (Min Qab'lu)." And (Wa) similar (Mutashaabihan) will be given (Utu') therein (Bihi). And (Wa) they will have (Lahum) purified (Mutohharatun) spouses (mates) (Az'waajun) therein (Fiihaa), and they (Hum') will be therein (Fiiha) eternally (Khaaliduun).

Indeed, GOD does not shame to cite an example as much as a mosquito and what is beyond it. And as for those who believe, hence they will know that it is the truth from their LORD. But as for those who disbelieve, thus they will say, "What does GOD intend by this example?"HE sends many astray thereby and guides many thereby; but HE only sends those who are immoral astray thereby,

Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) does not (Laa) shame (Yas'tah'yi) to (An) cite (Yad'riba) an example (Mathalan) as much as (Maa) a mosquito (Bauudotan) and what (Famaa) is beyond it (Faw'qa-haa). And (Fa) as for (Amma) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu'), hence (Fa) they will know (Ya'lamuuna) that it (Annahu) is the truth (El'Haqqu) from (Min) their LORD (Rabbi-him). But (Wa) as for (Amm) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru'), thus (Fa) they will say (Yaquuluuna), "What (Maazaa) does GOD intend (Araada-llahu) by (Bi) this (Haaza) example (Mathalan)?" HE sends many (Kathiiran) astray (-Yudillu) thereby (Bihi) and (Wa) guides (Yah'dii) many (Kathiiran) thereby (Bihi); but (Wa) HE only (Maa illa) sends those who are immoral (El'Faasiqiin) astray (-Yudillu) thereby (Bihi),

who violate the agreement of GOD after HIS covenant and sever what GOD has commanded to be joined and they corrupt on earth. They are those who are the losers.

who (Ellaziina) violate (Yanquduuna) the agreement of GOD (Äh'da-llahi) after (Min Ba'di) HIS covenant (Miithaaqi-hi) and (Wa) sever (Yaq'touuna) what (Maa) GOD has commanded (Amara-llahu) to (An) be joined (Yuusola Bi-hi) and (Wa) they corrupt (Yuf'siduuna) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). They (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who are the losers (El'Khaasiruun).

How can you disbelieve in GOD while you were lifeless and HE gave you life; then HE will cause you to die, then HE will give you life, and then you will be returned to HIM?

How (Kai'fa) can you disbelieve (Tak'furuuna) in GOD (Billahi) while (Wa) you were (Kuntum') lifeless (Am'waatan) and (Fa) HE gave you life (Ah'yaa-kum); then (Thumma) HE will cause you to die (Yumiitu-kum'), then (Thumma) HE will give you life (Yuh'yii-kum'), and then (Thumma) you will be returned (Tur'jauun) to HIM (ilai'hi)?

HE is the One who created what is on earth entirely for you, then HE set up to the heaven and then organized them as seven heavens. And HE is aware of all things.

HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) what (Maa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) entirely (Jamiiän) for you (Lakum), then (Thumma) HE set up (Es'tawaa) to (ilaa) the heaven (Es'Samaai) and then (Fa) organized them (Sawwaa-hunna) as seven (Sab'ä) heavens (Samaawaatin). And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is aware of (Äliim Bi) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).

And when your LORD said to the Angels, "I will place a successor on earth."They said, "Will YOU place therein one who will corrupt and shed blood therein, while we glorify with YOUR praise and sanctify YOU?"HE said, "Indeed, I know what you do not know."

And (Wa) when (Iz') your LORD (Rabbu-ka) said to (Qaala Li) the Angels (Malaaikati), "I (Inni) will place (Jaaelun) a successor (38:26) (Khaliifatan) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di)." They said (Qaaluu'), "Will YOU place (Ataj'älu) therein (Fiiha) one who (Man) will corrupt (Yuf'sidu) and shed (Yas'fiku) blood (Ed'Dimaa'a) therein (Fiiha), while (Wa) we glorify (Nusabbihu) with (Bi) YOUR praise (Ham'di-ka) and sanctify YOU (Nuqaddisu Laka)?" HE (God) said (Qaala), "Indeed, I (Innii) know (A'lamu) what (Maa) you do not (Laa) know (Ta'lamuun)."

And HE taught Adam the names of them all and then displayed them to the Angels and said, "Inform ME of the names of these, if you should be truthful."

And (Wa) HE taught (Ällama) Adam (Aadama) the names (El'As'maa'a) of them all (Kullaha) and then (Thumma) displayed them (Ärado-hum') to (Älaa) the Angels (El'Malaaikati) and (Fa) said (Qaala), "Inform ME (Anbiuunii) of (Bi) the names (As'maai) of these (Haaulaai), if (In) you should be (Kuntum') truthful (Soadiqiin)."

They said, "Glory be to YOU, we have no knowledge except what YOU have taught us; indeed, YOU are the OMNISCIENT, the WISE."

They (The Angels) said (Qaalu'), "Glory be to YOU (Sub'haana-ka), we have (Lanaa) no (Laa) knowledge (il'ma) except (illa) what (Maa) YOU have taught us (Ällam'ta-naa); indeed, (Innaka) YOU (Anta) are the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliimu), the WISE (El' Hakiim)."

HE said, "O Adam, inform them of their names."And when he had informed them of their names, HE said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you conceal?"

HE (God) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Adam (Aadamu), inform them (Anbi'hum) of (Bi) their names (As'maai-him)." And (Fa) when (Lammaa) he (Adam) had informed them (Anba'a-hum) of (Bi) their names (As'maai-him'), HE (God) said (Qaala), "Did I not (Alam') tell you (Aqulla-kum) that I (Innii) know (A'lamu) the unseen (Gai'ba) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di), and (Wa) I know (A'lamu) what (Maa) you reveal (Tub'duuna) and what (Wamaa) you (Kuntum') conceal (Tak'tumuun)?"

And when We said to the Angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; then they prostrated, except Lucifer; he refused and became arrogant and was of the disbelievers.

And (Wa) when (Iz') We said to (Qul'naa Li) the Angels (Malaaikati), "Prostrate (Es'judu') to (Li) Adam (Aadama)"; then (Fa) they prostrated (Sajaduu'), except (illaa) Lucifer (Ib'liisa); he refused (Abaa) and became arrogant (Es'tak'bara) and was (Kaana) of (Mina) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriin).

And We said, "O Adam, you and your mate should dwell in the garden and eat in comfort wherever you both desire therefrom, but do not approach this tree, then you would be of the transgressors."

And (Wa) We said (Qul'naa), "O (Yaa) Adam (Aadamu), you (Anta) and (Wa) your mate (Zaw'ju-ka) should dwell in (Es'kun') the garden (El'Jannata) and (Wa) eat (Kulaa) in comfort (Ragadaan) wherever (Hai'thu) you both desire (Shi'tumaa) therefrom (Min'ha), but (Wa) do not (Laa) approach (Taq'raba) this (Haazihi) tree (Es'Shajarata), then (Fa) you would be (Takuuna) of (Mina) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin)." (7:19)

So the devil caused them to stumble thereof, and he ousted them from where they had been. And We said, "Descend as enemies to each other, and you will have residence and enjoyment for a time."

So (Fa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) caused them to stumble (Azalla-humaa) thereof (Än'ha), and (Fa) he ousted them (Akh'raja-humaa) from where (Mimmaa) they had been (Kaana Fiihi). And (Wa) We said (Qul'naa), "Descend (Eh'bitu') as enemies (Äduwwun) to each other (Ba'du-kum Li Ba'din), and (Wa) you will have (Lakum) residence (Mus'taqarrun) and enjoyment (Mataaun) for (ilaa) a time (Hiin)."

Then Adam received words from his LORD, so HE forgave him. Indeed, HE is the COMPASSIONATE, the MERCIFUL.

Then (Fa) Adam (Aadamu) received (Talaqqaa) words (Kalimaatin) from (Min) his LORD (Rabbi-hi), so (Fa) HE forgave him (20:122) (Taaba Älai'hi). Indeed (Innahu), HE (Huwa) is the COMPASSIONATE (Et' Tawwaabu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim).

We said, "Descend therefrom, all together. And when guidance comes to you from ME, thus whoever will follow MY guidance, there will be no fear upon them, nor will they grieve.

We said (Qul'naa), "Descend (Eh'bitu') therefrom (Min'ha), all together (Jamiiän). And (Fa) when (Imma) guidance (Hudan) comes to you (Ya'tiyanna-kum) from ME (Minnii), thus (Fa) whoever (Man) will follow (Tabiä) MY guidance (20:123) (Hudaaya), there (Fa) will be no (Laa) fear (Khaw'fun) upon them (Älai'him), nor (Walaa) will they (Hum) grieve (Yah'zanuun).

"As for those who disbelieve and deny Our verses, those will be the companions of the Fire; they will be therein eternally."

"As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') and (Wa) deny (Kazzabu' Bi) Our verses (Aayaati-naa), those (U'laaika) will be the companions (As'haabu) of the Fire (En'Naari); they (Hum') will be therein (Fiiha) eternally (Khaaliduun)."

O Children of Israel, remember MY blessing which I have granted you and fulfil MY agreement, I will fulfil your agreement, for I AM, so fear ME.

O (Yaa) Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iila), remember (Ez'kuru') MY blessing (Ni'matiya) which (Ellatii) I have granted you (An'äm'tu Älai'kum) and (Wa) fulfil (Aw'fu' Bi) MY agreement (Äh'dii), I will fulfil (Uufi Bi) your agreement (Äh'di-kum’), for (Wa) I AM (Iyyaaya), so (Fa) fear ME (Er'habuuni).
