H (Hä), M (Miim):
The revelation is from the GRACIOUS, the MERCIFUL.
The revelation (Tanziilun) is from (Mina) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim).
A book whose verses have been elaborated an Arabic reading for people who know,
A book (Kitaabun) whose verses (Aayaatu-hu) have been elaborated (11:1) (Fussilat)(Ärabiyyan) reading (Qur'aanan) for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who know (Ya'lamuun),
as a herald and a warner, but most of them turn away, so they do not listen.
as a herald (Bashiiran) and (Wa) a warner (Naziiran), but (Fa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) turn away (A'rada), so (Fa) they (Hum) do not (Laa) listen (Yas'mauun).
And they say, "Our hearts are in coverings from what you invite us to, as well as deafness in our ears and a partition ) between us and you, so work; indeed, we are working."
And (Wa) they say (Qaalu), "Our hearts (Quluubu-na) are in (Fii) coverings (Akinnati) from what (Mimma) you invite us (Tad'uu-naa) to (ilai'hi), as well as (Wa) deafness (Waq'run) in (Fii) our ears (Aazaani-naa) and a partition (17:45) (Hijaabun) between us and you (s) (Bai'ni-naa Wa Bai'ni-ka), so (Fa) work (E'mal'); indeed, we (Innanaa) are working (Äämiluun)."
Say:"I am only a human like you to whom it has been inspired that your god is One God, so be upright to HIM and seek HIS forgiveness. And woe to the polytheists,
Say (Qul'): "I am (Ana') only (Innamaa) a human (Basharun) like you (Mith'lu-kum) to whom (ilayya) it has been inspired (Yuuhaa) that (Annamaa) your god (ilaahu-kum) is One (Waahidun) God (ilaahun), so (Fa) be upright (Es'taqiimuu') to HIM (ilai'hi) and (Wa) seek HIS forgiveness (Es'tagfiruu-hu). And (Wa) woe (Wai'lun) to the polytheists (Lil' Mush'rikiin), (18:110)
who do not give the Charity and they are disbelievers in the hereafter."
who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) give (Yu'tuuna) the Charity (Ez'Zakaata) and (Wa) they (Hum) are disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in the hereafter (Bil' Aakhirati)."
Indeed, those who believe and do good deeds will have a reward without indebtedness.
Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) will have (Lahum) a reward (Aj'run) without (Gai'ru) indebtedness (Mam'nuun).
Say:"Do you indeed disbelieve in the One who created the earth in two days, by assigning counterparts to HIM? That is the LORD of the worlds."
Say (Qul'): "Do you indeed (A'innakum’ La) disbelieve (Tak'furuuna) in the One who (Billazii) created (Khalaqa) the earth (El'Ar'do) in (Fii) two days (Yaw'mai'ni), by (Wa) assigning (Taj'äluuna) counterparts (14:30) (Andaadan) to HIM (Lahu)? That (Zaalika) is the LORD (Rabbu) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin)."
And HE placed therein anchors above it and blessed therein and estimated its nourishment therein within four days; it is the same for the questioners.
And (Wa) HE placed (Jaäla) therein (Fiiha) anchors (mountains) (Rawaasiya) above it (Min Faw'qi-ha) and blessed (Baaraka) therein (Fiiha) and estimated (Qaddara) its nourishment (Aq'waata-ha) therein (Fiihaa) within (Fii) four (Ar'baäti) days (Ayyaamin); it is the same (Sawaa'an) for the questioners (Lis' Saailiin).
Then HE set up to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly or unwillingly."They said, "We come willingly."
Then (Thumma) HE set up (Es'tawaa) to (ilaa) the heaven (Es'Samaai) while (Wa) it (Hiya) was smoke (Dukhaanun) and (Fa) said to it (Qaala Laha) and (Wa) to the earth (Lil' Ar'di), "Come (E'tiya) willingly (Tow'ään) or (Aw') unwillingly (Kar'haan)." They said (Qaalataa), "We come (Atai'naa) willingly (Toai'een)."
Consequently HE completed them as seven heavens in two days and inspired in each heaven its command. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and guarding. That is the estimation of the ALMIGHTY, the OMNISCIENT,
Consequently (Fa) HE completed them (Qadoa-hunna) as seven (Sab'ä) heavens (Samaawaatin) in (Fii) two days (Yaw'mai'ni) and (Wa) inspired (Aw'haa) in (Fii) each (Kulli) heaven (Samaa'in) its command (Am'ra-haa). And (Wa) We adorned (Zayyanna) the lowest (Ed'Dun'ya) heaven (Es'Samaa'a) with (Bi) lamps (Masoabiiha) and (Wa) guarding (Hif'zoan). That (Zaalika) is the estimation (Taq'diiru) of the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim),
but if they turn away, then say:"I have warned you of a thunderbolt like the thunderbolt of Ad and Thamud."
but (Fa) if (In') they turn away (A'radu'), then (Fa) say (Qul'): "I have warned you (Anzar'tu-kum’) of a thunderbolt (Soaeqatan) like (Mith'la) the thunderbolt (51:44) (Soaeqati) of Ad (Äädin) and (Wa) Thamud (Thamuud)."
When the messengers came to them before them and behind them that, "Do not worship except GOD."They said, "If our LORD had willed, HE would have sent down Angels; so we are indeed disbelievers in what you have been sent with."
When (Iz') the messengers (Er'Rusulu) came to them (Jaa'at-humu) before them (Min Bai'ni Ai'dii-him) and (Wa) behind them (Min' Khal'fi-him) that, "Do not (Alla) worship (Ta'buduu') except (illa) GOD (Ellaha)." They said (Qaalu'), "If (Law') our LORD (Rabbu-naa) had willed (Shaa'a), HE would have (La) sent down (Anzala) Angels (Malaa’ikatan); so (Fa) we are indeed (Inna) disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in what (Bimaa) you have been sent with (Ar'sil'tum Bihi)."
As for Ad, they then became arrogant on earth without right and they said, "Who is stronger than us in strength?"Or did they not see that GOD who created them is stronger than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs.
As for (Fa Amma) Ad (7:65) (Äädun), they then (Fa) became arrogant (Es'tak'baru) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) without (Bi-Gai'ri) right (El'Haqqi) and (Wa) they said (Qaalu'), "Who (Man') is stronger (Ashaddu) than us (Minna) in strength (Quwwatan)?" Or did they not (Awalam') see (Yaraw') that GOD (Annallaha) who (Ellazii) created them (Khalaqa-hum) is (Huwa) stronger (Ashaddu) than them (Min'hum) in strength (Quwwatan)? But (Wa) they were (Kaanu') rejecting (Yaj'haduun Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa).
Consequently We sent a squeaking wind against them in the days of misfortune in order to let them taste the punishment of disgrace in the worldly life; but the punishment of the hereafter is more disgraceful, and they will not be helped.
Consequently (Fa) We sent (Ar'sal'na) a squeaking (Sor'soran) wind (Riihan) against them (Älai'him) in (Fii) the days (Ayyaamin) of misfortune (Nahisaatin) in order to (Li) let them taste (Nuziiqa-hum) the punishment (Äzaaba) of disgrace (El'Khiz'yi) in (Fii) the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaati); but (Wa) the (La) punishment (Äzaabu) of the hereafter (El'Aakhirati) is more disgraceful (Akh'zaa), and (Wa) they (Hum) will not (Laa) be helped (Yunsoruun).
As for Thamud, We then guided them, but they preferred blindness over the Guidance. Consequently the thunderbolt of a humiliating punishment seized them for what they were earning.
As for (Wa Amma) Thamud (11:61) (Thamuudu), We then (Fa) guided them (Hadai'naa-hum), but (Fa) they preferred (Es'tahabbu') blindness (El'Ämaa) over (Älaa) the Guidance (El'Hudaa). Consequently (Fa) the thunderbolt (Soaeqatu) of a humiliating (El'Huuni) punishment (El'Äzaabi) seized them (Akhazat'hum) for what (Bimaa) they were (Kaanu') earning (Yak'sibuun).
And We rescued those who believed while they were pious.
And (Wa) We rescued (Najjai'naa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') while (Wa) they were (Kaanu') pious (Yattaquun).
And the day the enemies of GOD will be assembled to the Fire, then they will be distributed
And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) the enemies of GOD (A'daau-llahi) will be assembled (Yuh'sharu) to (ilaa) the Fire (En'Naari), then (Fa) they (Hum) will be distributed (Yuuzauun)
until when they reach it, their hearing, their eyesight and their skins will testify against them for what they used to do.
until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) they reach it (Jaa'uu-haa), their hearing (Sam'u-hum’), their eyesight (Ab'soaru-hum’) and (Wa) their skins (Juluudu-hum) will testify (Shahida) against them (Älai'him) for what (Bimaa) they used to (Kaanu') do (Ya'maluun).
