When the incident* takes place,

When (Izaa) the incident (El'Waaqiä')* takes place (Waqaäti),

there is no denial for its occurrence.

there is no (Lai'sa) denial (Kaaziba') for (Li) its occurrence (Waq'äti-haa).

It will be lowering and lifting,

It will be lowering (Khaafidotun) and lifting (Raafiä'),

then the earth will quake with convulsion,

then (Izaa) the earth (El'Ar'du) will quake (Rujjati) with convulsion (Rajjaa),

and the mountains will crush by crushing

and (Wa) the mountains (El'Jibaalu) will crush (Bussati) by crushing (Bassaa)

and become dispersed dust particles.

and (Fa) become (Kaanat') dispersed (Munbatthaa) dust particles (Habaa'an).

And you will be in three kinds;

And (Wa) you (p) will be (Kuntum') in three (Thalaatha') kinds (Az'waajan);

Then the companions of the right; those will be the Companions of the right side.

Then (Fa) the companions (As'haabu) of the right (El'Mai'manati); those (Maa) will be the Companions of the right side (As'haabul' Mai'mana').

And the companions of the left; those will be the Companions of the left side?

And (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of the left (El'Mash'amati); those (Maa) will be the Companions of the left side (As'haabul' Mash'ama')?

As for the first of the forerunners;

As for (Wa) the first (Es'Saabiquuna) of the forerunners (Es'Saabiquun);

those will be the nearby ones

those (U'laaika) will be the nearby ones (El'Muqarrabuun)

in the Gardens of Bliss,

in (Fii) the Gardens of Bliss (Jannaati En'Naeem),

a group from the predecessors

a group (Thullatun) from (Mina) the predecessors (El'Awwaliin)

and a few from the later generations,

and (Wa) a few (Qaliilun) from (Mina) the later generations (El'Aakhiriin),

on decorated couches,

on (Älaa) decorated (Maw'duuna') couches (Sururin),

resting on them, facing each other.

resting (Muttaki'iina) on them (Älai'ha), facing each other (Mutaqaabiliin).

Immortal children will circulate around them

Immortal (Mukhalladuun) children (Wil'daanun) will circulate (Yatuufu) around them (Älai'him)

with drinking glasses, pitchers and cups of spring water.

with (Bi) drinking glasses (Ak'waabin), pitchers (Abaariiqa) and (Wa) cups (Ka'sin) of (Min) spring water (Maeen).

There will be no headache therefrom, nor will they bleed,

There will be no (Laa) headache (Yusoddauuna) therefrom (Än'haa), nor (Walaa) will they bleed (Yunzifuun),

and fruits of whatever they prefer,

and (Wa) fruits (Faakihatin) of whatever (Mimmaa) they prefer (Yatakhayyaruun),
