And who is more unjust than one who fabricates falsehood about GOD or denies HIS verses? Indeed, the transgressors will not succeed.

And (Wa) who (Man') is more unjust (Az'lamu) than one who (Mimmani) fabricates (Ef'taraa) falsehood (Kaziban) about GOD (Älallahi) or (Aw') denies (Kazzaba Bi) HIS verses (Aayaati-hi)? Indeed (Innahu), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimuun) will not (Laa) succeed (Yuf'lihu).

6:22 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And the day We will assemble them all; then We will say to those who have associated others, "Where are “your associates ” whom you used to allege?"

And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) We will assemble them (Nah'shuru-hum) all (Jamiiän); then (Thumma) We will say (Naquulu) to those who (Lillaziina) have associated others (Ash'rakuu'), "Where (Ai'na) are “your associates (idols)” (Shurakaau-kumu) whom (Ellaziina) you used to (Kuntum') allege (Taz'umuun)?"

6:23 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

Then there will be no discord of theirs except that they will say, "By GOD, our LORD, we were not polytheists."

Then (Thumma) there will be (Takun) no (Lam') discord of theirs (Fit'natu-hum) except (illaa) that (An) they will say (Qaalu'), "By GOD (Wallahi), our LORD (Rabbi-naa), we were (Kunna) not (Maa) polytheists (Mush'rikiin)."

6:24 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

Look how they will lie about themselves, and what they used to fabricate will divert from them.

Look (Enzur') how (Kai'fa) they will lie (Kazabu') about (Älaa) themselves (Anfusi-him), and (Wa) what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') fabricate (Yaf'taruun) will divert (Dolla) from them (Än'hum).

6:25 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And among them are those who listen to you, but We place coverings over their hearts, lest they comprehend it, and deafness in their ears. And if they should see every verse, they would not believe in it, even when those who disbelieve come to you arguing with you, they say, "These are only tales of the past."

And (Wa) among them (Min'hum) are those who (Man) listen (Yas'tamiu) to you (s) (ilai'ka), but (Wa) We place (Jaäl'naa) coverings (Akinnatan) over (Älaa) their hearts (Quluubi-him), lest (An) they comprehend it (Yaf'qahuu-hu), and (Wa) deafness (Waq'ra) in (Fii) their ears (Aazaani-him). And if (In) they should see (Yaraw') every (Kulla) verse (Aayatin), they would not (Laa) believe (Yu'minu') in it (Bihi), even (Hattaa) when (Izaa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaruu') come to you (s) (Jaauu-ka) arguing with you (Yujaadiluunaka), they say (Yaquulu), "These (Haazaa) are only (In' illa) tales (Asaatiiru) of the past (El'Awwaliin)." (17:45-46)

6:26 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And they refrain from it and distant from it. But they only destroy themselves, and they do not perceive.

And (Wa) they (Hum) refrain from it (Yan'haw'na Än'hu) and (Wa) distant from it (Yan'aw'na Än'hu). But (Wa) they only (In illa) destroy (Yuh'likuuna) themselves (Anfusa-hum), and (Wa) they do not (Maa) perceive (Yash'uruun).

6:27 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And if you could see when they are made to look at the Fire, and they will say, "O! If only we could return and not deny the verses of our LORD and be among the believers."

And (Wa) if (Law') you could see (Taraa) when (Iz') they (the deniers) are made to look at (Wuqifu' Älaa) the Fire (En'Naari), and (Fa) they will say (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa)! If only (Lai'tanaa) we could return (Nuraddu) and not (Walaa) deny (Nukazziba Bi) the verses (Aayaati) of our LORD (Rabbi-naa) and be (Nakuuna) among (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniin)."

6:28 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

In fact, what they used to conceal before has appeared to them. And even if they were returned, they would return to what they were forbidden; for indeed, they are liars.

In fact (Bal'), what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') conceal (Yukh'fuuna) before (Min Qab'lu) has appeared to them (Badaa La-hum). And (Wa) even if (Law') they were returned (Ruddu'), they would (La) return (Äädu') to what (Limaa) they were forbidden (Nuhu' Än'hu); for (Wa) indeed, they (Innahum) are (La) liars (Kaazibuun).

6:29 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And they say, "There is only our worldly life and we will not be resurrected."

And (Wa) they say (Qaaluu'), "There (Hiya) is only (In' illa) our (-naa) worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (Hayaatu) and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (Maa Bi) be resurrected (Mab'uuthiin)."

6:30 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And if you could see when they will made to look at their LORD. HE will say, "Is this not the truth?"They will say, "Certainly, by our LORD."HE will say, "Then taste the punishment for what you used to disbelieve."

And (Wa) if (Law') you could see (Taraa) when (Iz') they will made to look at (Wuqifu' Älaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him). HE (God) will say (Qaala), "Is (A-) this (Haaza) not (-lai'sa Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi)?" They will say (Qaalu'), "Certainly (Balaa), by (Wa) our LORD (Rabbi-naa)." HE will say (Qaala), "Then (Fa) taste (Zuuqu') the punishment (El'Äzaaba) for what (Bimaa) you used to (Kuntum') disbelieve (Tak'furuun)."

6:31 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

Those who deny the meeting of GOD will have lost, until when the Hour comes to them suprisingly, they will say, "O! Our heartbreak over what we neglected concerning it, "and they will carry their burdens on their backs. Verily, evil is what they will bear.

Those who (Ellaziina) deny (Kazzabu' Bi) the meeting of GOD (Liqaai-llahi) will have (Qad') lost (Khasira), until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) the Hour (Es'Saaätu) comes to them (Jaa'at'humu) suprisingly (Bag'tatan), they will say (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa)! Our heartbreak (Has'rata-naa) over (Älaa) what (Maa) we neglected (Farrat'naa) concerning it (Fiihaa)," and (Wa) they (Hum) will carry (Yah'miluuna) their burdens (Aw'zaara-hum’) on (Älaa) their backs (Zuhuuri-him’). Verily (Ala), evil (Saa'a) is what (Maa) they will bear (Yaziruun).

6:32 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And the worldly life is only play and amusement; but the Home of the hereafter is better for those who are pious. Will you then not reason?

And (Wa) the worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (El'Hayaatu) is only (Maa illa) play (Laebun) and (Wa) amusement (Lah'wun); but (Wa) the (La) Home (Daaru) of the hereafter (El'Aakhiratu) is better (Khai'run) for those who (Lillaziina) are pious (Yattaquun). Will you then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?

6:33 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

We already know that what they say will sadden you. But indeed, they are not denying you, however the transgressors are rejecting Our verses.

We already (Qad') know (Na'lamu) that (Innahu) what (Ellazii) they say (Yaquuluun) will (La) sadden you (s) (Yah'zunu-ka). But (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum) are not (Laa) denying you (s) (Yukazzibuunaka), however (Walaakinna) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina) are rejecting (Yaj'haduun Bi) Our verses (Aayaati-llahi).

6:34 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And certainly messengers before you were denied, but they were patient over what they were denied, and they were harassed until Our victory came to them. And there is no alteration to the words of GOD. And certainly there has come to you some of the news of the messengers.

And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') messengers (Rusulun) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka) were denied (Kuzzibat'), but (Fa) they were patient (Sobaru') over (Älaa) what (Maa) they were denied (Kuzzibu'), and they were harassed (Uuzu') until (Hattaa) Our victory (Nas'ru-naa) came to them (Ataa-hum’). And (Wa) there is no (Laa) alteration (Mubaddila) to (Li) the words of GOD (Kalimaati-llahi). And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') there has come to you (s) (Jaa'a-ka) some of (Min) the news (Nabai') of the messengers (El'Mur'saliin).

6:35 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And if their avoidance becomes too much for you, then even if you would be able to seek a tunnel through the earth or a stairway into the sky to come to them with a sign. If GOD had willed, HE would have gathered them upon the Guidance. Therefore do not be among those who are ignorant.

And (Wa) if (In) their avoidance (I'raadu-hum') becomes (Kaana) too much (Kabura) for you (s) (Älai'ka), then (Fa) even if (Law') you would be able (Es'tato'ta) to (An) seek (Tab'tagiya) a tunnel (Nafaqan) through the earth (Fiil' Ar'di) or (Aw') a stairway (Sullaman) into (Fii) the sky (Es'Samaai) to (Fa) come to them (Ta'tiya-hum) with (Bi) a sign (miracle) (Aayatin). If (Law') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu), HE would have (La) gathered them (Jamaä-hum’) upon (Älaa) the Guidance (El'Hudaa). Therefore (Fa) do not (Laa) be (Takuunanna) among (Mina) those who are ignorant (El'Jaahiliin).

6:36 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

Only those who listen will respond, as for the dead; GOD will resurrect them, then they will be returned to HIM.

Only (Innama) those who (Ellaziina) listen (Yas'mauuna) will respond (Yas'tajiibu), as for (Wa) the dead (El'Maw'taa); GOD (Ellahu) will resurrect them (Yab'äthu-humu), then (Thumma) they will be returned (Yar'jauun) to HIM (ilai'hi).

6:37 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And they say, "Why has a sign not been revealed to him from his LORD?"Say:"Indeed, GOD is able to reveal a sign,” but most of them do not know.

And (Wa) they say (Qaalu'), "Why (Law') has a sign (miracle) (Aayatun) not (Laa) been revealed (Nuzzila) to him (Älai'hi) from (Min) his LORD (Rabbi-hi)?" Say (Qul'): "Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is able (Qaadirun) to (Älaa An) reveal (Yunazzila) a sign (Aayatan),” but (Walaakinna) most of them (Ak'thara-hum’) do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun).

6:38 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And there is not a creature on earth nor a bird flying with its two wings except as nations like you. We have not left out anything in the register, thus they will be assembled to their LORD.

And (Wa) there is not (Maa) a (Min) creature (Daabbatin) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) nor (Walaa) a bird (Toairin) flying (Yatiiru) with (Bi) its two wings (Janaahai'hi) except (illaa) as nations (Umamun) like you (Am'thaalu-kum). We have not (Maa) left out (Farrat'naa) anything (Min Shai'in) in (Fii) the register (El'Kitaabi), thus (Thumma) they will be assembled (Yuh'sharuun) to (ilaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him).

6:39 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

And those who deny Our verses are deaf and dumb in darknesses. Whomever GOD wills; HE sends him astray, and whomever HE wills; HE puts him on a straight path.

And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) deny (Kazzabu' Bi) Our verses (Aayaatina) are deaf (Summun) and (Wa) dumb (Buk'mun) in (Fii) darknesses (Ez'Zulumaati). Whomever (Man) GOD wills (Yashai-llahu); HE sends him astray (Yud'lil'hu), and whomever (Waman) HE wills (Yasha'); HE puts him (Yaj'äl'hu) on (Älaa) a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatin).

6:40 Shuaib Abdullahi (EN)

Say:"Have you considered; if the punishment of GOD should come to you or the Hour comes to you; would you invoke other than GOD, if you should be truthful?"

Say (Qul'): "Have you considered (A-ra'ai'ta-kum); if (In') the punishment of GOD (Äzaabu-llahi) should come to you (p) (Ataa-kum) or (Aw') the Hour (Es'Saaätu) comes to you (Atat'kumu); would (A-) you invoke (Tad'uuna) other than GOD (-gai'ra-llahi), if (In) you should be (Kuntum') truthful (Soadiqiin)?"
