Al-An'am - Surah 6
165 verses
Marvel of the heavens and the earth; how could HE have a son while HE does not have a mate, and HE created all things? And HE is aware of all things?
Marvellous (Badiiu) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di); how (Annaa) could HE have (Yakuunu Lahu) a son (Waladun) while (Wa) HE does not have (Lam' Takun Lahu) a mate (f) (Soahibatun), and (Wa) HE created (Khalaqa) all (Kulla) things (Shai'in)? And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is aware of (Äliim Bi) all (Kulla) things (Shai’in)?
That is GOD, your LORD; there is no god except HIM, Creator of all things, so worship HIM. And HE is a representative over all things.
That (Zaalikumu) is GOD (Ellahu), your LORD (Rabbu-kum'); there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa), Creator (Khaaliqu) of all (Kulli) things (Shai'in), so (Fa) worship HIM (E'buduu-hu). And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is a representative (Wakiil) over (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai’in).
Eyesight cannot perceive HIM, but HE perceives all eyesight; and HE is the AFFABLE, the COGNIZANT.
Eyesight (El'Ab'soaru) cannot (Laa) perceive HIM (7:143) (Tud'riku-hu), but (Wa) HE perceives (Yud'riku) all eyesight (El'Ab'soara); and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the AFFABLE (El' Latiifu), the COGNIZANT (El' Khabiir).
There has come to you insight from your LORD. So whoever sees does so for his soul, and whoever is blind does so against it. And, "I am not a guardian over you."
There has (Qad') come to you (p) (Jaa'a-kum) insight (Basoa'iru) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum'). So (Fa) whoever (Man') sees (Ab'sora) does so (Fa) for (Li) his soul (Naf'si-hi), and (Wa) whoever (Man') is blind (Ämiya) does so (Fa) against it (himself) (Älai'haa). And (Wa), "I (Mohammed) am (Ana') not (Maa Bi) a guardian (Hafiiz) over you (Älai'kum)."
Thus have We conducted the verses that they may say, "You have studied, "so that We may clarify it to people who know."
Thus (Kazaalika) have We conducted (Nusorrifu) the verses (El'Aayaati) that (Li) they may say (Yaquuluu'), "You (s) have studied (Daras'ta)," so (Wa) that (Li) We may clarify it (Nubayyina-hu) to (Li) people (Qaw'min) who know (Ya'lamuun)."
Follow what has been inspired to you from your LORD. There is no god except HIM; and turn away from the polytheists.
Follow (7:3) (Ettabi') what (Maa) has been inspired (Uuhiya) to you (s) (ilai'ka) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-ka). There is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa); and (Wa) turn away (A'rid') from (Äni) the polytheists (idolaters) (El'Mush'rikiin).
And if GOD had willed, they would not have associated others. And We have not appointed you as a guardian over them, nor are you their advocate.
And (Wa) if (Law') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu), they would not (Maa) have associated others (idolized) (Ash'raku'). And (Wa) We have not (Maa) appointed you (Mohammed) (Jaäl'naa-ka) as a guardian (Hafiizoan) over them (Älai'him'), nor (Wamaa Bi) are you (Anta) their advocate (Wakiil Älai'him).
And do not insult those they invoke besides GOD, then they will insult GOD in enmity without knowledge. Thus have We adorned to every nation their work. Then to their LORD is their return, and HE will inform them of what they have been doing.
And (Wa) do not (Laa) insult (Tasubbu') those (Ellaziina) they invoke (Yad'uuna) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi), then (Fa) they will insult (Yasubbu') GOD (Ellaha) in enmity (Äd'wa') without (Bi-Gairi) knowledge (il'min). Thus (Kazaalika) have We adorned (Zayyanaa) to (Li) every (Kulli) nation (Ummatin) their work (Ämala-hum'). Then (Thumma) to (ilaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him) is their return (Mar'jiu-hum'), and (Fa) HE will inform them (Yunabbiu-hum) of what (Bimaa) they have been (Kaanu') doing (Ya'maluun).
And they swear by GOD in the effort of their oaths that if a sign came to them, they would believe in it. Say:"The signs are only by GOD."And what will make you perceive that even if it came they would not believe?
And (Wa) they swear (Aq'samu') by GOD (Billahi) in the effort (Jah'da) of their oaths (Ai'maani-him') that if (La'in) a sign (miracle) (Aayatun) came to them (Jaa'at'hum'), they would (La) believe (Yu'minunna) in it (Biha). Say (Qul'): "The signs (El'Aayaatu) are only (Innamaa) by GOD (Endallahi)." And (Wa) what (Maa) will make you perceive (Yush'eru-kum) that (Anna-) even if (Izaa) it (-haa) came (Jaa'at') they would not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun)?
And We will rotate their minds and their eyesight just as they did not believe in it the first time, and We will leave them in their transgression, straying.
And (Wa) We will rotate (Nuqallibu) their minds (Af'idata-hum') and their eyesight (Ab'soara-hum') just as (Kamaa) they did not (Lam) believe (Yu'minu') in it (Bihi) the first (Awwala) time (Marratin), and (Wa) We will leave them (Nazaru-hum’) in (Fii) their transgression (Tug'yaani-him’), straying (Ya'mahuun).
Even if We had sent down the Angels to them, and the dead spoke to them, and We gathered all things in front of them, they would not believe unless GOD wills; however most of them are ignorant.
Even if (Walaw') We had (Annanaa) sent down (Nazzal'naa) the Angels (El'Malaaikata) to them (ilai'himu), and (Wa) the dead (El'Maw'taa) spoke to them (Kallama-humu), and (Wa) We gathered (Hashar'naa) all (Kulla) things (Shai'in) in front (Qubulan) of them (Älai'him'), they would (Kaanu') not (Maa) believe (Li Yu'minuu') unless (illaa An) GOD wills (Yashaa'a-llahu); however (Walaakinna) most of them (A'thara-hum') are ignorant (Yaj'haluun).
And thus have We made enemies for every prophet; devils of humans and jinns inspiring to each other the decoration of delusive statement. And if your LORD had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and what they fabricate,
And (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) have We made (Jaäl'naa) enemies (Äduwwan) for (Li) every (Kulli) prophet (Nabiyyin); devils (Shayaatiina) of humans (El' In'si) and jinns (Wal' Jinni) inspiring (Yuuhii) to each other (Ba'duhum ilaa Ba'din) the decoration (Zukh'rufa) of delusive (Guruuran) statement (El’Qawli). And (Wa) if (Law') your LORD (Rabbu-ka) had willed (Shaa'a), they would not (Maa) have done it (Faäluu-hu), so (Fa) leave them (Zar'hum) and what (Wamaa) they fabricate (Yaf'taruun),
so that the minds of those who do not believe in the hereafter will incline to it in order to approve it and to commit what they are committing.
so (Wa) that (Li) the minds (Af'idatu) of those who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) in the hereafter (Bil' Aakhirati) will incline to it (Tas'gaa ilai'hi) in order to (Li) approve it (Yar'dow'hu) and (Wa) to (Li) commit (Yaq'tarifu’) what (Maa) they (Hum) are committing (Muq'tarifuun).
"So shall I seek a judge other than GOD while HE is the One who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?"And those to whom We gave the Book know that it has been revealed from your LORD in truth. So do not be of the doubters.
"So shall (Afa-) I seek (Ab'tagii) a judge (Hakaman) other than GOD (-gai'rallahi) while (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) has revealed (An'zala) to you (p) (ilai'kum) the Book (El'Kitaaba) explained in detail (17:12) (Mufassolan)?" And (Wa) those (Ellaziina) to whom We gave (Aatai'naa-humu) the Book (El'Kitaaba) know (Ya'lamuuna) that it (Annahu) has been revealed (Munazzalun) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-ka) in truth (Bil' Haqqi). So (Fa) do not (Laa) be (Takuunanna) of (Mina) the doubters (El'Mum'tariin).
And the word of your LORD is complete in truth and justice. There is no alteration to HIS words, for HE is the HEARING, the OMNISCIENT.
And (Wa) the word (Kalimatu) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) is complete (Tammat') in truth (Sid'qan) and justice (Äd'lan). There is no (Laa) alteration (Mubaddila) to (Li) HIS words (Kalimaati-hi), for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the HEARING (Es' Samiiu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim).
And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you from the way of GOD. They only follow assumption, and they are only guessing.
And (Wa) if (In) you obey (Tuti') most (Akh'thara) of those (Man) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), they will mislead you (s) (Yudilluu-ka) from (Än) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi). They only (In illa) follow (Yattabiuuna) assumption (10:36) (Ez'Zonna), and (Wa) they (Hum') are only (In' illa) guessing (Yakh'rusuun).
Indeed, your LORD is aware of those who stray from HIS way, and HE is aware of the guided.
Indeed (Inna), your LORD (Rabba-ka) is (Huwa) aware (A'lamu) of those who (Man) stray (Yadillu) from (Än) HIS way (Sabiili-hi), and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is aware of (A'lamu Bi) the guided (El'Muh'tadiin).
So eat from that upon which the name of GOD has been mentioned, if you are believers in HIS verses.
So (Fa) eat (Kulu') from that (Mimmaa) upon which (Älai'hi) the name of GOD (Es'mu-llahi) has been mentioned (Zukira), if (In) you are (Kuntum) believers (Mu'miniin) in (Bi) HIS verses (Aayaati-hi).
And why should you not eat from that upon which the name of GOD has been mentioned while HE has detailed for you what is unlawful to you, except that to which you are compelled? And indeed, many are misleading with their inclinations without knowledge. Indeed, your LORD is aware of the trespassers.
And (Wa) why should you (Maa Lakum) not (Alla) eat (Ta'kulu') from that (Mimmaa) upon which (Älai'hi) the name of GOD (Es'mu-llahi) has been mentioned (Zukira) while (Wa) HE has (Qad') detailed (Fassola) for you (Lakum) what (Maa) is unlawful to you (Harrama Älai'kum), except (illa) that (Maa) to which (ilai'hi) you are compelled (Ed'turir'tum')? And (Wa) indeed (Inna), many (Kathiiran) are (La) misleading (Yudilluuna) with (Bi) their inclinations (Ah'waai-him) without (Bi-Gai'ri) knowledge (il'min). Indeed (Inna), your LORD (Rabba-ka) is (Huwa) aware of (A'lamu Bi) the trespassers (El'Mu'tadiin).
And leave what is apparent of sin and what is hidden. Indeed, those who are earning sins will be requited for what they have been commiting.
And (Wa) leave (Zaru') what is apparent (Zoahira) of sin (El' Ith'mi) and what is hidden (Baatina-hu). Indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) are earning (Yak'sibuuna) sins (El' Ith'ma) will be requited (Sa Yujizaw'na) for what (Bimaa) they have been (Kaanu') commiting (Yaq'tarifuun).
