Did We not expound* your bosom for you?

Did We not (Alam') expound (-Nash'rah')* your bosom (Sod'ra-ka) for you (s) (Laka)? (20:25)

And We put down your burden away from you

And (Wa) We put down (Wado'naa) your burden (Wiz'ra-ka) away from you (s) (Änka)

which had overloaded your back

which (Ellazii) had overloaded (Anqado) your back (s) (Zoh'ra-ka)

and raised your reputation for you?

and (Wa) raised (Rafa'naa) your reputation (Zik'ra-ka) for you (s) (Laka)?

For indeed, with hardship there will be ease.

For (Fa) indeed (Inna), with (Maä) hardship (El'Us'ri) there will be ease (Yus'raa).

Indeed, with hardship there will be ease.

Indeed (Inna), with (Maä) hardship (El'Us'ri) there will be ease (Yus'raa).

So when you are vacant, then toil,

So (Fa) when (Izaa) you (s) are vacant (unoccupied) (Farag'ta), then (Fa) toil (Ensob’),

and then wish to your LORD.

and (Wa) then (Fa) wish (Er'gab) to (ilaa) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka).
